Types of Wedding Cakes You Can Expect To Find on the Market

A wedding cake is the centerpiece of your reception, and is one of the first things guests see as they arrive. So the first glimpse of the wedding cake is a very dramatic and beautiful moment. Wedding cake is also one of the last items served at a wedding reception, and guests take the memory of the cake with them. But most important is the beautiful tradition of the cake cutting ceremony, which symbolizes the couple's commitment to sharing a life with each other. Here is a list of some of my favorite cakes:

Vanilla Pear Caramel: Vanilla and caramel mousse, poached caramelized pears and chocolate sponge.
Tropical: Mango-passion fruit mousse, fresh raspberries and coconut dacquoise.
Carrot Cake: Carrot sponge with pineapple and cream cheese frosting.
Tiramisu: Mascarpone mousse and espresso sponge.
Trio: White, milk, and dark chocolate mousse with chocolate sponge.
Chocolate Hazelnut: Flourless chocolate cake with hazelnut mousse.
Milky Dream: Milk chocolate mousse, milk chocolate ganache, almond dacquoise and candied almond pieces.

Strawberry Grand Marnier Cake Yellow cake with fresh sliced strawberries and Grand Marnier buttercream, made with the famous French orange liqueur.
Lemon Raspberry Torte Vanilla cake layers, filled with tangy lemon cream and raspberry mousseline buttercream.
Cappuccino Truffle Torte Rich chocolate cake alternately layered with bittersweet chocolate truffle filling and cappuccino buttercream.
Orange Blossom Light vanilla cake layers, brushed with syrup containing orange juice, filled with orange mousseline buttercream, flavored with fresh orange zest and orange flower water.
Mango Vanilla cake layers filled with mango mousseline buttercream.
White Chocolate Raspberry Vanilla cream cake, filled with seedless raspberry preserves and white chocolate mousseline buttercream.
Candied Ginger and Green Tea Light vanilla cake layers, alternately filled with green tea buttercream and candied ginger buttercream.
